Every summer, GAA fans throughout the country love to claim famous people as fans of their native county, but Tipperary will be hard beat this summer. It seems that Dumb and Dumber star and one of the biggest comedy actors of the last 20 years, Jim Carrey, is a fan of the Premier if these Daily Mail snaps of him strolling through New York recently are anything to go by.

We'd like to think that Jim has been a Tipp fan since birth, but it's way more likely that his allegiance is due to his relationship with make-up artist Cathriona White, a native of Cappawhite. We have to say that the Tipp jersey in no way spoils Carrey's leather jacket, hipster beard and cool shades ensemble and who knows, maybe he'll start a trend of Hollywood stars doing likewise throughout the course of the Championship?
