Something tells us the groundsman might have had a late night the night before.
As you might have seen from
this pitch in Tipperary a little earlier today, GAA grounds aren’t always in pristine nick at this time of year; because of the weather, clubs can’t always keep the playing surface in the condition they’d like to.
The pitch in Enniscorthy looked in pretty good condition for the clash of Kilkenny’s Bennetsbridge and Wexford’s Crossabeg Ballymurn in the Leinster Junior Hurling semi-final yesterday; unfortunately the pitch markings weren’t worthy of similar praise.

It didn’t affect Bennetsbridge, who ran out 1-19 – 0-11 winners, but that 13 metre line is in danger of running into the ’21 if it doesn’t straighten up soon.
Hat-tip to Paschal Bergin for sending this one our way
