J-League
A whopping 84 points catapulted Jamie Foley’s OxLAD ChamberLAD to the top of the J-League table after the weekend, leaving him with three points to spare over a team managed by Pairic Sheehan, the name of which we won’t be publishing here.
There’s a very chivalrous look to the third and fourth spots, filled by Kev Dunne’s Jedi Saber Knights and Aonghus Mullins’ King Arter’s Knights respectively, with Nora Mehigan’s Fernwood 54 propping up the top five.

Gameweek 6
Manchester City may have had their traditional wobble in the Champions League against Juventus in midweek, but they’ll be looking to pick up their sixth consecutive clean sheet in the league on Saturday, which would be some achievement.
West Ham have had a very good start to the season, but the temptation to pick two members of the City rearguard remains strong, particularly with captain Vincent Kompany scoring so freely.
Elsewhere, seemingly anything could happen in the weekend’s main clash between Chelsea and Arsenal given their fluctuations in form so far.
Four teams in pretty decent nick at the moment, meanwhile – Leicester, Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham – are all in action away from home and their form players will have a tough time maintaining their high rate of scoring to date.
This week’s picks
Safe bet: Ross Barkley (£6.8 million). The Everton midfielder has sometimes struggled to live up to often unfair expectations, but he’s on a hot streak at the moment with two goals, three assists and 34 points in five games.
Dark horse: Christian Benteke (£8.5 million). Liverpool are in dire straits at the moment but with the Reds needing a win at home to Norwich and after his stunner against United last weekend, we’ll stick our neck out on the big Belgian.
Captain’s choice: David Silva (£10.2 million). City are the form team, they’re at home and before his absence against Palace last week, the silky Spaniard was averaging an assist and over six points per game.

What do you reckon Keanu Reeves?
Keanu’s right, there’s no individual in good enough form to go for the triple captain option and we don’t advocate unleashing the all-out attack or bench boost options either.
Patience, friends.
