The average price of a hotel room in Saint-Denis for Ireland’s clash with Sweden in the Stade de France on 13 June, for example, is €285, a 102% increase on the average hotel price for June 2015.
At €312, the average price of a hotel room in Bordeaux on June 18, when Ireland meet Belgium, is slightly higher.
The worst of the lot, meanwhile, is Lille on 22 June, where fans are looking at paying an average price of €559 for a hotel room, a whopping 427% increase on hotel prices in the city in June of last year.
The night of Ireland’s clash with Italy in Lille is the night where the average price of a hotel room is most expensive throughout the group stages.
It's almost double the average price of €298, which was calculated by the average cost of hotel rooms per night in all host cities from June 10 – June 22.
