The Leinster and Ireland player has been a strong advocate for improved emotional wellbeing, having worked with charities such as Pieta House in the past to highlight the devastation caused by suicide.
Jack's brother took his own life in 2010 and the 26-year-old loosehead prop has made this video as part of the IRUPA's 'Tackle Your Feelings' campaign.
They were incredibly close, and in this emotional tribute Jack explains how much of an influence his brother was on his rugby career as he grew up.
"I was always felt like keeping my emotions in was the way to deal with it," he says in the video. "When you've got this knot in your stomach, you're struggling to get up in the morning, eventually you start talking and it's like a gas valve releasing."
