No love lost, that’s for sure.
On Thursday night, Conor McGregor came face to face with Nate Diaz for the first time since his shock defeat to the American at UFC 196 back in March, with his eyes firmly fixed on avenging that loss in their rematch at UFC 202 next month.
It’s been an eventful few months since that fight following McGregor’s threat to retire from the UFC, a threat that he subsequently revoked, but Thursday’s press conference was a lot more subdued that what had transpired before their initial bout earlier this year.

That said, there was still a pretty intense stare down between the pair after all the talking had been done, although there was no real fear an all-out brawl happening this time around.

A little later in the evening, meanwhile, McGregor’s compatriot Joseph Duffy went close to matching his 13-second defeat of Jose Aldo in December with a defeat of Mitch Clarke by submission in just 25 seconds at UFC Vegas.
