The sun was out, the crowd was in great form and there were some cracking races; Bragbet couldn’t have picked a better day for a launch at Punchestown.
Bragbet, which enables punters to have a few bets without sacrificing the craic you can have with the lads, launched at the opening day of the National Hunt festival at the Kildare racecourse yesterday, where Il Fenomeno, with Paul Carberry on board, came home in the BragBet.com Handicap Hurdle at odds of 16/1.
In what some would say is just as important a development, one lucky punter, Harly Dunne, won five tickets to the Irish rugby team’s encounter with the All-Blacks later this year after riding the Bucking Bronco for an incredible 86 seconds, beating professional jockeys including Ken Whelan and Mark Enright, by a staggering 64 seconds.
Overall, a great day was had by all present but if you missed out, not to worry, as with BragBet you can re-create the fun of a day at the races any day of the year as it enables groups of punters to pool their betting fund into a team pot and enjoy betting as a team online and on mobile.
The video above will give you a good idea of the craic that was had in Punchestown on Tuesday – we particularly enjoyed the horrendous attempts of some punters to stay upright on the bucking bronco – and for more information on Bragbet, check out the Bragbet website and the new Bragbet iPhone app, which is available from the App Store.
