JOE TV took to Grafton Street this week armed with boxes of McCoy’s Crisps, a dartboard (of the health-and-safety-friendly magnetic variety) and VIP tickets to the McCoy’s Premier League Darts night at the O2 Dublin. Here’s how we got on.
Darts has come a long, long way from its parlour game origins, and the Sky Sports treatment in recent years has made its regular tournaments some of the most feverishly exciting live events you could possibly hope to attend.
Although it has stopped off in Belfast regularly in recent years, McCoy’s Premier League Darts visits Dublin for the first time on Thursday night next, 22 March, when The O2 will be transformed into a heaving arena of darts fans, hot models and jugs of beer for one night only.
