It takes b*lls to do a bungee jump, but it takes Stig-sized b*lls to do a bungee jump in an F1 car that costs a few million euro…
The latest Top Gear Festival recently took place in Durban, South Africa, and one of the main attractions at the event was The Stig’s incredible bungee jump in Lotus’ F1 car. Check it out above…
In order to get his hands on the F1 car, The Stig had to ‘steal’ the million dollar motor from Lotus’ HQ in Oxfordshire, UK, and his antics just so happened to be recorded by some strategically placed CCTV cameras, as you’ll see below (it’s almost like this is an advert and he wanted to get caught!).
Admittedly, the two videos are straight up advertisements for both the Lotus F1 team and Sure deodorant, but in fairness to the man in the white helmet, he actually did do the bungee jump in the Lotus F1 car. Here’s the (slightly less spectacular) fan footage to prove it… The action kicks off around the 1:15-mark.
