Picture: Look who’s joined Tiger and Rory on the cover of Tiger Woods ’14
The two biggest names in golf have been joined on the cover of the Tiger Woods ’14 video game by the face of a man who is gone but will never be forgotten. What a lovely touch.
EA recently revealed what the cover of the European version of the hugely popular video game will look like on its release later this year and in what is a lovely touch, the face of the late Seve Ballesteros will appear alongside the biggest draws in the game at present, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, who posted a picture of the cover on Twitter today.
Seve passed away in May 2011, but his memory has lived on in the game to which he gave so much and never was that more evident than at the Ryder Cup in Medinah last year, when the European players constantly cited Seve as an inspiration and captain Jose Maria Olazabal broke down in tears when dedicating an amazing victory to his great friend.
Fair play to EA for a lovely gesture. The game will be released on March 29.
