Sometimes, things in the universe just line up so perfectly, that you couldn't write it any better.
By Adrian Collins
Last night, Nicolas Colsaerts teeshot from the tenth hole ended up going into the rough and hit a hazard, which turned out to be a toilet, and an official was called in to adjudicate on the rules.
He deemed that the nearest "point of relief" (you couldn't come up with a more apt name if you tried) was actually inside the toilet, so Colsaerts had to go in and make a drop. A penalty drop, that is.
As it was judged it was an immovable obstruction though, he was allowed to play from outside it, but we would love to see someone take a shot from inside a toilet cubicle. He still made par on this hole, but ended up finishing number two (sorry) to Graeme McDowell, who played in the semi-finals today.
