A well-known bookie has struck again, sending Rory McIlroy a very special, and large, message at the Ryder Cup yesterday.
As we head into the Singles today, Europe trail the US 10-6 and if the Ryder Cup is to be retained, we need an epic day of golf from the 12 men of Europe.
Despite some very poor play yesterday, Europe managed to only lose 5-3, with Ian Poulter the key man for Jose Maria Olazabal’s team.
In the final game yesterday, Poulter and Rory McIlroy birdied the final six holes to beat Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson and give Europe some hope.
We wonder if this rather brilliant good luck message, organized by Paddy Power before yesterday’s play, helped Rory do the business? And what will they have lined up for today? It will need to be something special...
