A bona-fide legend of MMA and UFC, Chuck Liddell, will be in Dublin for an event the night before UFC's big July show.
The return to Dublin of the UFC on July 19 is going to be one of the biggest days in the 2014 Irish sporting calendar. The return to action of Conor McGregor, against Cole Miller, will be the headline act but the rest of the card is stuffed with quality too. With an atmosphere guaranteed to blow the roof off the O2, it should be some night.
And now we are happy to reveal that the night before, July 18, should be pretty damn special too. The rumours are true that former UFC Light Heaveyweight champ Chuck Liddell is coming to Dublin for an event that promises to be a must see for MMA fans.
Liddell will be in CityWest for 'An Evening with Chuck Liddell' on July 18. General admission is just €30 but if you want to get up close and personal with the man himself, silver and gold packages can be purchased which will include a chance to meet the man himself and get a photo and signed merchandise.
The Iceman is sure to have lots to say about McGregor's chances, what's next for TUF star Cathal Pendred and whether anyone can beat the man who now owns his old belt, Jon Jones.
