Ulsterman to feature on The Ultimate Fighter tonight

Ulsterman Norman Parke and a regularly featured fighter on JOE has his shot at the big time tonight.

Viewers of TUF:The Smashes should recognise a familiar face representing Ross Pearson's Team UK tonight, Bushmill’s own Norman Parke will step into the Octagon to battle Aussie Richie 'Vas' Vaculik .

25-year old Norman Parke hails from Bushmills, Co. Antrim and is the reigning Cage Contender lightweight champion. He has a 16-2 record with his only losses coming against quality opponents in Greg Loughran in his debut and Joseph Duffy in a short notice fight. He has 12 submission wins to his name and 3 KOs.

His opponent 29-year old Richie Vaculik boasts a 9-1 record since making his MMA debut in 2006. 6 of his wins have come by submission and 3 by TKO. His only loss came by decision in a five round title fight.
