Michael Phelps might be the greatest ever Olympian but he should leave crowd surfing to people who are much, much smaller.

At 6’3” and around 15 stone, Michael Phelps has the perfect body shape for swimming. The American used those natural gifts to win 22 Olympic medals in the pool, more than anyone else and more than many countries.

But we have to question his judgement here as he believes that a bunch of drunk people in a Las Vegas nightclub can support him, and another person, in an inflatable boat.

We have no idea what the plan was but it ended, completely expectedly, with Phelps plummeting to the floor. Maybe if all the people standing around taking pictures helped out he might have had a chance but they didn’t so the big man took a big dive.
