You’re 10 points down to your hated local rivals with just two minutes to go. This is how you pull out the win.

Thanks in no small part to the efforts of actor Russell Crowe,  South Sydney, or the Rabbitohs as they are known, are once again a competitive force in Australian Rugby League. In their long absence away from the top level of the game, their arch rivals Sydney Roosters had taken the spotlight and the two sides struck up an instant hatred when the green and red  southsiders returned to the top flight in 2002. Since then it has simmered along nicely.

As you can imagine the games between the two sides are pretty spicy affairs, like all local derbies. In the opening round of this year’s National Rugby League (NRL), the Roosters beat the Rabbitohs 24-20 with two tries in the final three minutes.

In the return game this morning, it looked like another defeat for the Rabbitohs as they trailed 22-12 with just two minutes left. Then this happened, pulling out an even more stunning win than the one the Roosters pulled on them earlier in the year.

It is a simply sensational comeback, crowned by two incredible tries. Enjoy.
