Statements involving the phrase ‘greatest ever’ are all a matter of opinion of course and you’re more than welcome to beg to differ with ours in this case, but for sheer innovation and execution, we don’t think we’ve seen anything like it.
Playing in the Estonian league, Kalev’s Armands Škele was chasing a ball back towards his own half and seemingly just trying to keep it in play before producing what could only be described as a backhand scoop to send the ball flying into the basket from downtown for perhaps the most spectacular three-pointer ever seen in the sport.
