Ken Block has done it again with his latest installment of the Gymkhana series of videos. Pushing his car to the absolute limits is the only thing he's worried about.
Last year’s Gymkhana 3 freestyle drifting video was watched by 35 million people. This time around Block is hoping to smash that as he literally smashes his way around Universal Studio’s backlot.
In the video you see buildings being destroyed, a gorilla on a Segway, Sasquatch, Jaws, the Epic Meal Time guys and a whole lot of drifting. If you’re not familiar with the sport that is Gymkhana, it’s basically a driver defying physics in a car. “Think of it as car ballet with mad burnouts, insane drifts, and explosions,” was the explanation on the car blog Jalopnik.
Once you wade through all the merchandise advertising that’s strategically placed in the opening shots you will see what skills Ken Block has in his 600 bhp Ford Fiesta. And keep an eye out for the sets of War of the Worlds, Jaws, and Back To The Future with homage’s to Zombieland and even Slumdog Millionaire.
By the way, the cameramen haven't done too shabby a job here either.
