This is certainly the most flamboyant way we’ve ever seen to catch a restart.

What makes this catch by LSU’s star receiver Odell Beckham so great is that he didn’t have to do it. He wasn’t diving for a TD, he wasn’t being closely guarded by a safety, he wasn’t even near scoring in fact. Instead the future NFL star was tasked with catching a Georgia restart and for some bizarre but brilliant reason he decided to use just one hand to take the ball down.
