Just imagine you're Valencia basketball player Vitor Faverani. You've just perfectly executed a 27-metre shot, albeit a second too late.

The Brazilian star sensed that the buzzer was about to hit and flung the ball an incredible 27 metres with his right hand.

Amazingly, the ball reached the full length of the court and ended up in the opposition's basket.

Thankfully for Faverani, though the attempt wasn't counted, his Valencia Basket side beat Madrid side Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada 68-90 at the Fernando Martin de Fuenlabrada arena in the Spanish capital.

Rather annoyingly, the shot should have stood as it was taken prior to the buzzer, but at least Faverani will get his fame as soon as this incredible clip goes viral. You can enjoy it above.
