Video: LeBron James jumps over opponent for stunning alley-oop

LeBron James may be one of the most unlikable figures in US sports, yet we can't fail to admire his stunning dunk from last night's victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Due to his still largely unforgiven 'The Decision' ESPN TV special (imagine Wayne Rooney taking an hour to tell Sky Sports what club he was set to join), LeBron James is still very much a divisive figure in the NBA. Yet you can't deny his sheer power.

Last night James scored 35 points from the Miami Heat in a 97-93 victory over the Chicago Bull, yet two of the 27-year-old's points haul were a lot more memorable than everything else.

That's because LeBron completed an alley-oop from Heat guard Dwayne Wade by leaping over John Lucas of the Bulls. Yes, he actually leapt over the Bulls' point guard.

While we're amazed by the stunning play above, we should mention that when it comes to leaping over an opponent, perhaps nothing will ever beat Vince Carter's incredible dunk over France's Frédéric Weis at the 2000 Olympic Games. As we're feeling generous, we've included it below:
