Video: Proof that iPads make pretty good shields

This video shows the pitfalls of using an iPad to record sporting action and the person involved can be thankful for the robustness of the Apple technology.

Filmed at a University of Iowa softball game, the clip shows another supporter recording the action before the ball comes flying in his direction.

The iPad is knocked over but makes for a great shield and we imagine the hit made for interesting footage.

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but this Apple ensured no medical attention was needed.
