One American TV presenter got more than she bargained for at the weekend when she was knocked over live on air by a football fan.

Reporter Lee Valsvik was reporting live from a restaurant in Minnesota and given that the wild card weekend was gripping football fans Stateside, we imagine the testosterone was pumping.
Which is the only explanation we can think of as the over-zealous fan appears when the ball is thrown in the empty restaurant and bulldozes the reporter over.
She rather ominously says just beforehand “It worked in practice”, so clearly she expected the routine, just not perhaps with such force.
They really do take their football seriously.
