Ever wondered what it would be like to drive an F1 car? Well, while we can’t actually give you an F1 car, we can point you in the direction of the next best thing – an actual F1 simulator (insert impressed noises here).

Fancy a go in said F1 simulator? Simply get yourself down to Arnotts on the June Bank Holiday weekend, where watch brand Certina will be hosting the ultimate Formula 1 Simulator Experience for men.

For the entire June Bank Holiday weekend, the Arnotts menswear department will be home to a full-scale F1 simulator that has genuine controls and motion effects, so you’ll actually think that you’re driving around the Silverstone National track. Awesome or what?

You’ll get to test your driving skills over two laps and see if you have what it takes to be an F1 driver. The best thing about this event? The simulator itself is even used by F1 drivers to learn track layouts and test the car set-up for the circuits throughout the season. So you’ll really be getting a piece of the F1 experience.

Certina will also be hosting a Fashion and Beauty Glam Prix within Arnotts over the weekend to cater to the lady in your life. Let her loose in the Beauty Pit-Stop in the Beauty Hall or get her hooked up with a Fast-Fix Fashion session – that’ll keep her happy while you’re off burning some simulated rubber.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll have the chance to take part in activities around the store, and have a special race track card stamped for everything you do. Cards that are returned with all the stamps on them will be entered into a special draw for some prizes - and knowing Certina, the prizes are bound to be epic.

The event will be running from Friday 1st June to Sunday June 3rd, so it’s on the same weekend as the Bavaria City Race which means that you’ll get to see some real F1 cars too. All you have to do is turn up to Arnotts and have some craic. Brilliant.
