What is the notoriously cool brand of A Bathing Ape doing teaming up with Irish schoolboy favourite Dr Martens? Creating beautiful loafers, that's what.

The unlikely partnership is part of A Bathing Ape's ongoing collaboration pieces and has been fashioned specifically for the brand's spring season.

With celebrity proponents of A Bathing Ape including the likes of Lil Wayne, could we possibly see Dr Marten's becoming a hip hop staple? Probably not, but it's a fine effort nonetheless.

The shoe itself features an air-cushioned sole, suede upper material and a hand-stitched toe box. Also availble in a mustard colourway.
