The days of embarrassingly disgusting athletic footwear are long gone - say hello to Nike's forthcoming Footscape Free.

There used to be a time when a fashionable running shoe was a thing of fantasy, yet primarily through Nike, new designs have sprang forth to overturn the stereotype. The Footscape Free edition is the latest in the designer's Free series and is tailored specifically for long distance runners.

We're big fans of the contrasting grey and orange colourway as we think that both colours complement one another wonderfully - yes, we'll even admit to liking that infamous Chelsea away jersey from the 1990s.

The Footscape Free does not yet have a firm release date but you can expect it to hit shelves in Spring next year.
