With a yearly summer comedy that involves him playing a foul-mouthed man child, it's fair to say that Adam Sandler has gotten a little lazy as of late, as evidenced by his wardrobe.
Having attempted to branch out with the likes of Punch Drunk Love and Funny People, Sandler now appears to have instead decided to plunge new depths with the likes of cross-dressing comedy Jack & Jill (which somehow won more anti-Oscar "Razzie" awards than it was nominated for) and next year's Grown Ups 2.
That's right; despite his back catalogue of classic and not-so-classic comedies, Sandler's pick for a rare sequel is not Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison, it's the absolutely risible Grown Ups - perhaps because he could then share the brunt of the expected critical mauling with the likes of co-stars Chris Rock and Kevin James.

This is not the attire of an A-lister at a US movie premiere
If Sandler appears to be going through the motions and not attempting to challenge himself whatsoever, then that's something that's absolutely been reflected in his lazybones approach towards fashion.
Take his outfit to the recent US premiere of his latest comedy, That's My Boy, which hit cinemas stateside last weekend.

Granted, it's not a comedian's responsibility to dress like a catwalk model but there are exceptions in the likes of Russell Brand, who like him or not at least takes more than a few seconds to choose his outfit before leaving the house.
In the case of Sandler, it's a case of throwing on overpriced leisure wear, not matching any colours and ensuring that as many logos as possible are visible. Oh, and don't forget to not shave and finish the outfit with a completely random baseball cap for measure.
We used to be big Adam Sandler fans here at JOE but every summer the comic sinks even deeper in our estimation. With no spark or creativity to his recent releases, his comfortable but lazy attire sums up his movie output perfectly and tells us that unfortunately, things won't be changing anytime soon.
