Brit actor Andrew Garfield is about to become a household name after this summer's starring role in The Amazing Spider-Man yet it appears that he can't shake the red and blue Spidey colour scheme.
The 28-year-old - portraying a teen in the upcoming blockbuster - has said that winning the role was a dream come true, with a photo emerging just days after his casting that showed Garfield in a Spider-Man Halloween costume. Clearly the talented actor has a huge passion for Marvel's biggest star.
However, it's a little unusual to see Garfield continuing his passion for red and blue while walking down red carpets across the globe, as he showed up at the film's Paris premiere last week with a decidedly dandy scarlet and sky blue ensemble. Take a look below.

See... see the red and blue? Get it?
Perhaps his Spidey sense tingled and encouraged him to subtly remind those at the premiere that he and no-one else is the new Spider-Man or perhaps Sony has a bizarre clause that dictates that he must wear familiar Spidey colours at every press event from here on in.

Thankfully no, this isn't the official costume
Either way, it sets a terrifying precedent for future superhero red carpets if you ask us. Who will understand a word of what Christian Bale is saying if he uses his gravelly Batman voice for next month's The Dark Knight Rises press events? Can we expect Mark Ruffalo to show up in nothing more than purple shorts for inevitable The Avengers 2's red carpet?
As you can tell, we appreciate the risk Garfield took and he's clearly a huge fan of the webslinger - we're just worried that he may have opened a door that can never be closed from now on. Somewhere Adam West is practicing his iconic "Bat Dance" should he get an invite to The Dark Knight Rises premiere next month...
