The chances of wearing swim shorts this summer and not freezing yourself to death in Ireland are quite slim, but if you're heading on holidays, here's our picks.

Forget your flip flop and forget your farmer's tan; if you want to make an impression when you hit the beach or pool then it's best to pick out the finest pair of swim shorts you can find.

Baggy bermuda shorts and skin-tight speedos should be avoided at all costs - just go for something colourful and above the knee and you'll be sorted.
