If you’re looking to grab shoppers’ attention with a novel marketing stunt then you might want to take a page or two out of the EJ Menswear manual.

The lads from EJ Menswear on Grattan Street in Co. Sligo have decided to advertise their blowout half-price sale with a novel marketing stunt that could have looked VERY worrying to an unsuspecting shopper.

EJ Menswear are cutting the prices on all their stock and so in order to get their point across the lads decided to slash a massive sale poster with a chainsaw right in the middle of the store. We just wonder what the lads in ‘health and safety’ have to say about it… According to comments on Facebook, the chainsaw wielding slasher in the video is none other than Eamon, the owner of EJ Menswear, so it’s good to see the top brass getting in on the fun.
