Video: Another lucky JOE competition winner upped his game thanks to Arnotts

Another of our lucky JOE readers was in Arnotts recently to up his game with the €1000 Arnotts menswear voucher he won here on the site. So we decided to head along to see what threads he picked out.

Shopping for clothes is usually at the bottom of most men’s to-do lists, mainly because we’re not that tuned into fashion and because it’s a right effort. That’s why it’s handy to have someone there to tell you that the fez you’re wearing looks ridiculous or that red doesn’t go with orange (who knew?). Whether you bring your missus, a friend or even if you choose the services of a personal shopper, you’re much better off having a second opinion.

The most recent winner of our ongoing Up Your Game Competition with Arnotts.ie was a veterinarian student by the name of Enda Cawley. Enda won the competition after he told us how his house was burgled and that the dastards made off everything, including his flatmate’s and his own clothes. So how could we let a few of our loyal JOE readers go without some fresh new threads?

While in Arnotts, Enda used the services of their on-site dedicated personal shopper Clara Halpin. He was shown some cool clothes that caught his eye ranging from G-Star jeans, to a gorgeous brown leather jacket from Reiss.

“There was a red Diesel shirt that I tried on, which was very nice and I really liked it and a great pair of G Star trousers".

Enda told us that he tends to keep his wardrobe up to date with the latest fashions, but he’s a casual guy who like casual clothes – Converse, check shirts and the likes. So that’s exactly what Clara picked out from him, as you’ll see in the video above.

Speaking about his personal shopping experience Enda said, “I’d definitely do it again and its great to go around and have that advice just there waiting for you."
