Meet the iPhone with a holographic display

How long have Apple led the way in everything phone or tablet related? Doesn't really matter, because there will always be someone dreaming stuff up that even Apple won't create for years yet.

Like this for example, a video showing what it will be like when Apple kits out their products with holographic projectors. I say when not if, because considering the pace of developments in mobile technology it is only a matter of time before we'll be holding one of these bad boys in our pocket.

The boys over at Aatma Studio do this quite a lot. It's obviously their hobby to set the Apple guys the challenge of catching up with their imagination.

This imaginary prototype video comes from a fella called Mike Po. There's no doubt that 3D is a hot tech topic right now, and the race to create a proper 3D display without the need for annoying glasses is properly on.

While this is an exciting vision of where technology is headed, you'd have to wonder, can we not just enjoy the technology we have right now?... probably not!
