We're ridiculously giddy at the announcement of a new Batman Arkham game, and it seems that they're planning a new release for later this year.

We were huge fans of the Batman Arkham titles here at JOE towers, they had us glued to our consoles, and it looks like they're giving us exactly what we want: more!
Warner Brothers CFO John Martin announced in Time Warner's projections on Yahoo! Finance that there were plans for “a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise”. Since the title is planned for release in 2013, we are going to hazard a guess that it might appear sometime around oh...Christmas maybe?
The one problem with the game, according to VG247.com, is that Rocksteady have stated that they're not involved in this title, and considering what a phenomenal job they did on the last two, this does make us worry slightly.
However, Rocksteady are apparently working on a prequel to the two games which should be out in 2014, focusing on the first meeting between Batman and the Joker.
While we're not sure who is in charge of this new title, we are slightly concerned that they would change a winning formula. We're happy to wait until 2014 for a top quality title which would be as good as the last two.
