Thousands of Irish mothers have sons and daughters living in Australia these days and Irish mammies being Irish mammies, they worry about them something rotten. If they haven't heard from said son or daughter in a few days or a week or two, the alarm bells start ringing and drastic action must be taken, even if that involves making what must have been a very expensive phone call for one Irish mammy recently. For his own sake, we've omitted the name of the man who received the text below, but we're informed that he's a Dub currently working in Asia who went on the lash in Brisbane in Australia for the week and obviously didn't let his mother know. Unable to get in touch with him directly, his mother took matters into her own hands.   Never underestimate the persistence of an Irish mammy. Hat-tip to John Courell for sending this one our way
