One of the world’s richest companies, Apple, are going to release a new mini-Pad that will have hipsters and nerds squealing in delight.
Information has been leaked in the last few days that Apple are going to launch a miniature version of their highly successful iPad.
Apple, the world’s most likeable all-conquering conglomerate hell bent on world domination, are doing this as they reportedly want the smaller iPad to compete with Google's Nexus 7 and Amazon's Kindle Fire HD. Both of those tablets have 7 inch screens and it is believed that the new iPad would have a 7.85 inch screen.
Not content to merely piss off those two technology giants, the supposed launch date for this product is due to be the 23rd of October which will take focus away from Microsoft, who launch their new Windows 8 operating system on Thursday 25th.
According to various reports and leaks the new iPad will retail at €249 with an 8GB capacity while the most expensive model will be €649 and will have 64GB of storage.
Sounds good, but there’s only one problem – isn’t a small iPad an iPod Touch?
