What do a horse, some lard and a dildo have in common? They're all part of the latest internet scam...
You’ve probably won the Nigerian lottery a few times at this stage, or if not, maybe an African Prince has left you his fortune? Either way, most of us are wise to internet scams and their devious, yet sometimes hilarious, attempts to get our personal details so that they can clear out our bank accounts.
However, this latest scam that is currently doing the rounds really takes the biscuit. Apparently, there’s an international assassin going around doing what he does best – killing people.
Sadly, you’re next on his list and to make matters worse, he knows you’re innocent. The scam also claims that your death will be a “particularly nasty death which makes it look like you died in a particularly bizarre sex game gone wrong”.
This is where the horse (who the scam names as ‘Henry’), the lard and the dildo come in. But fear not, once you fork over a boatload of cash, the assassin will leave you alone. Simple as that.
It’s one of the most ridiculous stories that we’ve ever heard of, but it still doesn’t take away from the fact that replying to spam mail like this is still dangerous, even if you’re only replying to tell them to “f*** off”. So if you ever receive an email that claims you’ve won the lotto or a hitman is after you, just delete it and forget about it.
Here's a screen shot of the scam:
