Irish Tech company Von Bismark has recently released the Von Bismark Accessorise platform, a revolutionary new way for consumers to try on digital fashion items on a virtual mirror.
Von Bismark is one of the new breed of tech start ups we have seen exploding out of Dublin recently.
Coming from the same stream of National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) Launchpad companies as recent Spark of Genius winners at the Dublin Web Summit, Redeem and Get, Von Bismark hopes to revolutionise the way fashion retailers deliver their inventories to consumers.
Essentially they are able to fit the entire inventory of a high street retailer into a two-metre digital display unit that consumers can then try on and buy.
To give you an idea of how technology like the Von Bismark Accessorise is eroding the differences between how consumers shop online and off line, check out the video below to see what a similar venture from Tesco subsidiary HomePlus achieved in South Korea recently.
