Annoying habits of holiday partners revealed

05/08/2010 9:32 pm

Following on from our look at Irish celebrities who would make ideal holiday partners, JOE details the most annoying habits our partners exhibit while on holidays, as voted by the Irish public.

In a new survey conducted by Irish travel and leisure website lastminute.ie, in which 1,000 Irish people took part, the most annoying habit of a partner whilst on holiday is... being rude to waiting staff.

Now this is an interesting one indeed as the common misconception that we Irish are generally polite and shy in public situations has been put to bed. Picking your nose steams in at joint second with constantly glancing at your mobile phone or even daring to text while in company.

The survey also gives the top five worst holiday partners imaginable which includes a trip away with an Irish politician or what many would consider far worse – your ex girlfriend.

If you can afford flying first class or just like to dream, the most popular perk of the luxury is spacious seats according to the members of the Irish public who participated in the vote.
