Nigel Farage falls victim to very unfortunate technical fault on public big screen in Manchester

Now that’s just unfortunate. Hilariously unfortunate.

As the leader of a high profile political party and being widely known for holding occasionally controversially right-wing views like UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, being associated with Adolf Hitler is probably the last perception you want projected to the public. Which is why Farage was particularly unfortunate that images of his appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning being projected on a big screen in Salford Media City were affected by what is being reported as a mere ‘technical fault’ even if we can’t help but suspect that somebody behind the scenes knew exactly what they were doing.

  The picture has since been removed but as is always the case these days, there are plenty of screengrabs going around... The hilarious and entirely accidental image comes at a particularly bad time considering that Farage is currently caught up in controversy over allegations that he shouted Hitler Youth songs as a schoolboy and, according to the Guardian, harbouring "publicly professed racist and neo-fascist views," while in school but, funny as it is, they can hardly blame him for this.
