Enda Kenny says he can't please 100% of us

It's been a rocky few weeks for the coalition and their own worst enemy seems to be themselves. Between feuding ministers and mistimed announcements they've been sticking the knife in their own back.

Enda Kenny made his comments today to try in some way to smooth over the cracks that seem to be forming between the two parties.

Over the weekend the always gaff prone minister, Leo Varadkar, apologised for the confusion over the household and water charges and Labour minister Joe Costello said they were handled very badly.

He told Midwest Radio: "You can take it that there's a very strong work either between the two parties in government. We did get a serious mandate from people last year. Nobody in Fine Gael or Labour ever said this would be easy. There are challenging times ahead, but that's our duty and our responsibility."

"The government never performs at 100% in the eyes of all the people. These are problem that we have to deal with. They're not only confined to one department every single department has real structural change to go through," added a defiant Kenny.

Do the people agree with him? Well it won't be 100 per cent agreement anyway if you believe Kenny.
