It’s so easy to offend people these days. Take the Finnish toilet paper company that were simply trying to give people a little reading material when on the bog, only to be p*ssing off Norwegian Church leaders.
According to news website, Reuters, Metsa Tissue were printing messages about love on their loo roll to please their patrons, but accidently included some quotes from the gospel including Matthew and Corinthians. One such quote was by the main man himself, Jesus Christ, Son of God. It read; “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Metsa make the toilet tissue, known as Lambi.

The special message toilet paper was sold in Norway, Denmark and Sweden and drew the attention of Laila Riksaasen Dahl, the Bishop of Tunsberg, Norway. She said, "This is bad taste and shows a lack of respect…Bible verses do not belong on a roll of toilet paper."
The company was unaware that their messages were offensive until they received the complaints. Christina von Trampe, a spokeswoman for Metsa Tissue told Reuters of their printing idea; “People like to read small, happy messages while sitting on the toilet…the vast majority of the feedback has been positive. Our intention was to spread love and joy, not religious messages.”
The company has decided to stop printing the religious messages and vet their quotes more stringently in future. Their toilet paper often features quotes from poetry, witty quotes or philosophical messages. But the story doesn't end on a bum note – the company received free advertising from the story, and sales look set to soar.
