Idiotic Incident of the Week: Father of the Year won't be going to this guy
We're guaranteed at least one ridiculously idiotic story every week and this week's involves one extraordinarily stupid father.
If you’re not up to date on your world affairs then you should know that Florida has a knack for churning out some seriously strange news stories. This one was so bad that it deserved to be our first 'Idiotic Incident of the Week'. We'd say the bar has been set, but pretty damn low.
Kenneth Rowe, 26, of the hick-ridden Daytona Beach, brought his infant daughter to an off-licence to get some booze last Sunday night, but he left the store a little empty handed...
Staff at the Shark Lounge and Liquor Store were happy enough to mind Mr Rowe’s daughter while he stepped out to ‘have a smoke’, however, the 26-year-old then disappeared for FOUR hours. Needless to say, the cops were called.
Rowe returned to the liquor store absolutely hammered after his four hours of being MIA and he then asked the staff for his baby back. When he left the store with his baby in tow, Mr Rowe then decided to wander into traffic where he lay down on the street for a nap - with the baby in his arms.
Presenting the Idiot of the Week
Rowe eventually got up and jumped into some bushes as he had to hide from the police, but his crying baby gave away their location. Thankfully, the child was returned to her mother unharmed, and Rowe was charged with child neglect. The plank.
