JOE's transfer wrap-up: Torres, Tevez and everyone else linked to PSG
Paris Saint-Germain's eager attempts to run riot over Financial Fair Play continued apace today after new manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed the calibre of players offered to the Ligue 1 leaders.

Paris Saint-Germain's eager attempts to run riot over Financial Fair Play continued apace today after new manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed the calibre of players offered to the Ligue 1 leaders.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the cuddly Italian spilled the beans over which players are currently being touted by agents on the transfer market, including the perhaps not very surprising mention of Chelsea misfit Fernando Torres.

"There is a lot of choice for this January market. Do you want the names?" asked Ancelotti. "OK, now I tell you the players the agents are offering on the market, officially or not: Carlos Tevez, Fernando Torres, Dimitar Berbatov, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Edinson Cavani, Fernando Llorente."

As the club continue their attempts to sign a marquee striker to partner Kevin Gameiro, news agency AFP believes that PSG have agreed a fee of £25m with Manchester City for everyone's favourite unprofessional footballer, Carlos Tevez. That's £4m less than the club offered in an attempt to lure Alexandre Pato from AC Milan last week but £4m more than a rejected offer that Inter Milan made for Tevez this week.

Speaking of big-money moves involving Ligue 1 sides, Eden Hazard could be on his way to Chelsea as early at this week, at least according to the Twitter page BBC Radio 5 Live's Ian McGarry. The presenter tweeted earlier: 'Eden Hazard expects an agreement to be reached with #CFC for his transfer this week. Personal terms are close to completion. Fee approx 28m€'

Could Manchester United buy their third goalkeeper within the space of twelve months? According to a Swansea director, John van Zweden: "Clubs have enquired about Vorm. Manchester United have asked, in addition Chelsea and for that matter Newcastle United. Tottenham Hotspur have cautiously announced they are interested. It would be a nightmare for us if he left."

Swansea since released a statement this afternoon, however, claiming that they "have not received any inquiries about Michel Vorm." Maybe Van Sweden just loves all that media attention and JOE mentions.

Elsewhere, Liverpool's attempts to pay an uncharestically reasonable price for a talented player could be thwarted, as Blackburn have ruled out a move for their £5m-rated Canadian winger Junior Hoilett. As it turns out, the 21-year-old's stay at Ewood Park can be blamed on unsettled teammate Christopher Samba.

"It may not be within their best interests to off-load him considering what is going on with [Christopher] Samba at the moment," said the player's father and agent, referring to Samba's written transfer request yesterday afternoon.

"I can't really see them letting both of them go at the same time and with Junior's contract ending at the end of the year, the value they could get for Junior would be less than what they would get for Samba."

Another Sengal striker on Tyneside? Un-Ba-lievable

Finally, another Senegalese striker could following in the footsteps of Demba Ba and heading to Tyneside, as Ba's international teammate Papiss Demba Cisse has said that he is "flattered" by reported interest from Martin O'Neill's Sunderland, while Press Association are reporting that he's off to Newcastle.

"I'm flattered by the interest of Sunderland and other clubs. I'd like to one day play in England," the SC Freiburg star told Sky Sports News.

"I love the Premier League and want to make my name there like my mate Demba Ba is doing with Newcastle at the moment. My German club Freiburg has their say as well and I have big respect to that club who made me who I am today."

The striker has hit the net 37 times in 65 appearances for his relegation-threatened Bundesliga club. Ba's other international team-mate is Moussa Sow - the current Ligue 1 top goalscorer - so you can see that Senegal's attacking department is an embarrassment of riches right now.

According to Press Association, Cisse is in talks with Newcastle as we speak and could be linking up with Ba in the African Cup of Nations from this weekend and for the Toon Army next month.

Now just imagine how Senegalese fans would react at next year's African Cup of Nations if they had a Geordie-accented strike force...
