For most people, keeping a €135,000 Lambo out of a sand bunker would be their top priority. Not this guy.
With a 5.2L V10 producing 512 bhp you can see how this rookie was able to loose control of his Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and slice it into a bunker at the 2011 Concorso Italiano event at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in California.
According to Sports Car Market Magazine, the Concorso Italiano promised to showcase some of the world's most elite and prized cars, and it did. But it was the bunkered Lambo that ended up stealing the show. We could only imagine how badly the driver wanted to take a mulligan at that one.
After driving around and flexing his guns to the girls and, no doubt, also ‘showing them where the beach was’, he took for the car aprk not realising the ‘hill’ he was coming up to had a bunker beneath it.
Thankfully for him, the only injury suffered was a massive 12-foot gash in his ego - and a few small scratches to the nose of the Lambo. Well, we suppose this guy can count himself lucky that he didn't cause the world's most expensive car crash.
