Man selling his own left foot is the most bizarre Done Deal ad we’ve seen yet

To what lengths would you go to make €250? Would you consider selling one of your own limbs, for instance? This guy would.

We’ve seen a number of fairly crazy Done Deal ads in recent months. There was the guy pretending to be Conor Mortimer in an attempt to get All-Ireland Final tickets and a time machine for sale in Dublin, but this latest effort wins the prize as the most ridiculous one yet.

After falling on hard times, a 26-year old man from Kilkenny has decided to put his own left foot up for sale for the seemingly measly price of €250. He says it’s good for running on and ideal for just strolling around or going to the shop so we'll take his word for it.

The extra bit of fluff around the toes will be ideal for these cold winter months; the toenails have recently been clipped any interested parties are invited to inspect the foot before deciding if they wish to make a purchase.

It would appear as if there is quite a bit of interest as the ad has been nearly 3,500 times since going up on the site on Saturday, although that may well be because of the selection of size ten socks that the seller is willing to provide as part of the deal.

The seller, a man called Robbie, doesn’t go into detail about how he would go about parting with his limb should he agree a sale, but if you want to go one step further (no pun intended) and discuss the matter in person, you can check out the ad in full here.
