Rejected planning permission applications can cause frustration and anger to many. One farmer decided to get around it after failing to get the go-ahead he required.

The picture shows how one farmer overcame the fact that his permit to build a horse shelter was rejected by thinking outside the box. The giant tables and chairs should provide ample protection and will hopefully not land him into trouble with the authorities.

The horses in question are lucky that the farmer has a creative streak to them. Rumour has it there were plenty of long faces in the field when news of the rejected permit filtered through.
