Writer and Co-Director Robert Rodriguez has revealed the first photos of actor Josh Brolin on set. Brolin has taken over the role of Dwight, previously played by Clive Owen in the first instalment of Sin City.
The director tweeted the images saying “Here's bad ass Josh Brolin driving a Rodriguez-mobile. (A green box with a steering wheel bolted on).” Rodriguez is co-directing with the writer of the original graphic novels, Frank Miller.

The cast for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is impressive; reprising their roles are Bruce Willis as Hartigan, Jessica Alba as Nancy, Mickey Rourke as Marv and Rosario Dawson as Gail. New characters are Eva Green as the titular dame, Joseph Gordon Levitt as Johnny, Jeremy Piven as Bob and Juno Temple as Sally.
The storyline of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For sees Dwight (Brolin), chased down by his only love Ava Lord (Green). It explains why Dwight’s face has changed dramatically.
Rodriguez also tweeted “Having a BLAST making this movie. Amazing cast, and they're all doing fantastic work.” The movie is due for release in the US in October, but no date for an Irish release has been set.
