Smooth and Refined: Winter accessories
Our winter weather can often be cold and miserable, but it does mean one thing: we can throw on a few accessories that make us look as slick as Bond himself.

Our winter weather can often be cold and miserable, but it does mean one thing: we can throw on a few accessories that make us look as slick as Bond himself. Thanks to Wild Turkey bourbon, we take a look at some of the most Bond-like clobber you can buy.

Dressing well and wrapping up don't necessarily have to be two separate things, so we've decided to take a look at a few pieces for winter that can make you stand out when the cold weather rolls around.

Firstly, we all know that you'd be absolutely insane to go outside in an Irish winter without a proper coat on you, so sort yourself something that's warm, relatively long, and is going to look stylish. With this in mind, it's best to opt for a pea coat, a popular design which is available in a range of colours. Black and navy are always easy to match to other things, but don't rule out a grey either. The one pictured is as worn by James Bond in Skyfall, you really can't get much better than that.

One thing you'll notice about being out in the winter months is that your digits start to get cold before the rest of you does, so throw on a pair of gloves that will ward off frostbite at the fingers. Leather gloves are always in style, and a bit of lining on the inside will ensure your hands are warm by the time you're inside and wrapping them around that first cold drink at the bar.

A scarf with an eye-catching design will keep your neck warm as well as make sure that you get noticed, plus it will prevent any snow going down your back if there's a white Christmas this year. A plaid design is a classic which will never go out of style, and should remain an important part of your rotation for years.

Slap the whole lot together and 007 himself wouldn't even be able to compete. Smooth and refined, this look will give you the edge the next time you're out on the town, no matter the weather.
