It’s the weekend! To get you wedged firmly into that Friday feeling and to ensure that you have something better to do than sit through the Late Late Show, here’s the pick of what’s on your telly box tonight.
Main Event: Dexter, FX, 10pm
If you’re not up to speed on the current series of Dexter you should definitely catch tonight’s episode. The season is only three shows in, so you won’t be completely lost.
Tonight Miami Homicide finds evidence that a religiously motivated killer is on the loose in Miami and we find out who's next on Dexter's chopping board. Expect dark humour and some captivating plot twists. Starring Michael C Hall.
Sporting Pick: Ulster vs Leinster, RTE2, 7pm
A Heineken Cup final preview perhaps? We all hope so but this inter-pro clash in the PRO12 at Ravenhill should be a quality game in its own rights. Leinster are cruising at the top of the table but Ulster, without the suspended John Afoa and the injured Paul Marshall, need to win to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Movie Pick: Transformers, E4, 9pm.
Yes, you’ve probably seen it a million times already but surely looking at Megan Fox for two hours is better than gawking at Ryan Tubridy, in fairness.
A teenager is given his first car, only the car turns out to be an alien with a life of its own. Suddenly said teenager is thrown into an intergalactic war between the Transformers and the Deceptacons. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel.
