We heard that they’re only going to be making one last season of House, so we’ve decided to tell you what’s happening tonight. An Alzheimer's patient takes part in a clinical trial, but unexpected side-effects trigger an explosive temper and expose a huge conflict between him and his wife, which a bunch of roses wouldn’t even resolve. Meanwhile, House confronts his new boss, Foreman, and Wilson treats a patient who claims to be in a chaste marriage. Medical drama, starring Hugh Laurie.

Manchester United v Ajax, kick-off starts at 8.05pm. Tommy Martin joins you tonight for the coverage of the last-32 second-leg fixture at Old Trafford. While it will be a major shock if the Red Devils fail to qualify – major being the key word – they will be looking to improve on their recent home European performances, which saw them draw with Benfica and FC Basel after trailing in both matches. Commentary by Trevor Welch and Lou Macari. Plus, highlights of Valencia v Stoke City… or in other words, highlights of Valencia’s goals. We’re kidding.

Movie Pick: Freedomland, TV3, 9pm

It’s a bit of a heavy movie, but it’s another classic Sam L. Jackson flick, so you should check it out. The disappearance of a child stirs up racial tension and class conflict in an inner-city community. A distraught single mother claims her son was abducted by a black carjacker, but the detective investigating the case begins to suspect her version of events may not be true. Turns out, she’s a bit of bitch. Drama based on Richard Price's novel, starring Samuel L Jackson, Julianne Moore and Edie Falco.
